Christmas 2010 (in pictures)

So we were a little slow in sharing these pictures from Christmas... But hey, better late than never, right? And besides -- it's still January (for another day or so)...

Anyway, here they are -- the much-awaited photos from our first Christmas in Waco. We're so glad Grandma, Aunt Sue and Uncle Vic could be here to share the fun with us (especially LittleBear)!

LittleBear's first haircut

To celebrate LittleBear's 19-month birthday, we decided it was time for him to get his first haircut. We debated visiting the regular barber shop where Jeff usually goes, but decided we'd play it safe and visit "Kids Kuts," a little kid-specific place inside of a local children's clothing consignment store, "Smarty Pants."

LittleBear did great! He literally didn't fuss once. He loves sitting inside of little cars (like the classic Little Tikes cars, or these carts they have at our mall), so the fact that the kids' chair was a converted Power Wheels jeep interested him from the start. Then he just sat there, through the wetting of his hair (sort of wrinkled up his nose, but he took it) and the cutting (which didn't seem to faze him at all). It went quickly and he was done and ready to move on to the next thing.

(Here's my attempt at a "before and after" comparison. I promise, the difference is much more noticeable in-person.)

Anyways, he did so well! May all his future haircuts go as smoothly... (Oh, and because so many people following him on Twitter have already asked -- here's a photo gallery of the experience.)

Christmas 2010 (in video)

Haven't gone through pictures yet, but thought we'd go ahead and share some video for those of you (especially family) who weren't able to be with us on Christmas.

It's been a crazy, fun year as our little one has gone from BabyBear (take a look back at him from last Christmas) to LittleBear -- a fully mobile 18-month-old with a very distinct personality. He's a blast to be around, and the past year has been all the more fun because of him.
