Yup, you guessed it, more progress has happened to our bathroom! Today they put in sheetrock, so it looks even more like a bathroom! We're still trying to pick out tile, but hope to have that done soon.
Here is the video tour for today:

Bathroom Remodel- Day 4
Rub-A-Dub-Dub, We've Got A New Tub!!
Well, as you guessed it, today they put in the bathtub!! Yay!!! They actually did not bring in the tub until 4pm or so. The rest of the day was spent re-piping drains from the old shower to where they should be for the tub. They also replaced the lines for the hot and cold water, replaced the release valve and extended the shower upwards for the taller folks in the family. We have some new sheetrock in the bathroom as well.
We also chose a faucet fixture for our shower and tub today, which is really cool. The awesome thing is that our plumber has a great connection with a wholesale place in town that is selling us the tub and accessories as well as this faucet fixture at way discounted prices, so that is a major blessing. We're going for a Tuscan/Mediterranean theme and liked this faucet set.
So here is a short video of the bathroom as it is now:

Bathroom Remodel-Day 3
Another day goes by and more work happens in the bathroom, this is great! Jeff and I went bathtub shopping last night and after about an hour, we found one that not only fit the size of the space we had available, but it also fit within our budget. You can see more information about it by clicking here.
Today the electrician came and installed the wiring for the outlets, the tub, and the tub water heater. They also ripped out the tile floor that was in the linen closet so the floor would be level for whatever tile we end up choosing (we get to pick that out on Friday- I'm going for a "marble like substance").
They also removed the big mirror, which we are putting back in, and cleaned up a bunch in the bathroom. Not sure what the patched rectangular area is behind the mirror, maybe an old recessed medicine cabinet? Anyway, here are the pictures for today:

No more mirror (that makes picture taking a lot more difficult!):

Bathroom Remodel- Day 2
They made more progress today! Tomorrow the electrician comes to put in outlets (the old bath didn't have any!), run the wiring for the whirlpool tub and get started on switching out the old heater in the ceiling with a heater/light/fan combo. Thursday, the plumber will be coming to run the pipes and rework the drain, then the tub will be installed. Friday, we go to choose the tile for the floor and shower area. Fun times!

Bathroom Remodel- Day 1
There are workers in the process of remodeling our old very faded peach bathroom that was once formerly the size of a closet! Actually, all it had was a vanity, toilet, small shower and a tiny linen closet. Yesterday, they ripped out the shower and the linen closet and most of the floor tile. Today, they will be getting rid of the remainder of the wall tile and starting the rebuilding process. We are having trouble finding a before picture, but here are pictures as it is now...

Happy Birthday to Me
Today is my 29th birthday (for the first time)... We celebrated by going to dinner at Chili's, then coming home to open cards and gifts and enjoy a tasty dessert. Bethany had fun with it (see video below).
Other birthday videos for the family: Jeff opening cards and gifts from his nephew, Bethany's parents, Aunt Sue and Vic, and his mom.
