Yesterday, LadyBear hit four months and we are loving this stage. When I started setting up for our little photo session, she started smiling on her own as soon as I put her in the chair. She's a very happy little girl! The only exception to this is, I think, she is starting to get her first tooth and that can make her (understandably) crabby. Most of the time, however, she loves to play, snuggle and watch whatever LittleBear is up to.
Her four month well check was today, which officially told us she weighs 15 pounds, 7 ounces and is 25.5 inches tall. Our Dr. said that puts her in the 95th percentile for height and 85th for weight. Woohoo, go LadyBear! Our Dr. also said that she is in perfect health and is very, very strong for her age...praise the Lord!!
LadyBear recently started rolling over from her back to her tummy and now can do it quite easily. The only problem with this in her mind is that she hasn't figured out how to roll back yet and does not like being on her tummy, so I am performing a lot of "rescue missions" to go in during nap and night time sleep to roll her over on her back when she gets stuck. Hopefully she will figure out how to roll the other way soon :) Otherwise, she sleeps pretty well.
She also has become quite the little chatterbox and will tell us all sorts of things throughout the day. At the moment she is playing with the volume of her voice and can go from quiet to loud in .6 seconds. At least she's happy :)
