Before Five In A Row: Jesse Bear, What Will You Wear?

I apologize for the lateness of this blog post...This week we read a book that was (again) new to me. We did read it each day, but LittleBear didn't really seem to care for it that much. He did like a good deal of the activities we had planned, so that was good. We had a super busy week with friends in town visiting and Baylor Homecoming, so we didn't get to everything we had planned (we missed the teddy bear picnic, the bear paper dolls, and the find the bears game). I think I'm going to hold off on our Before Five In A Row studies for a few weeks while we do more activities to prepare for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It's a bit of a challenge finding activities that LittleBear can do and will enjoy at the moment and I think this little break will help. No worries, we will definitely pick it back up in a few weeks or at the latest, after Christmas.

Despite three trips to the grocery store on Monday (long story), I forgot to buy potatoes for the shaped potato stamps, so we used flashcards and our shape sorter instead. That seemed to be fine with LittleBear. He really liked the tracing page and the Did Eat/Didn't Eat activity. He also liked sticking the healthy lunch items on Jesse Bear's placemat.

All in all, it was a busy, but good week!
